Little Hughie (Print)
This tiny Eurasian otter cub was found alone in a garden in Huish Episcopi in Somerset, 2025. After a huge effort from RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) the cub gained more strength and was then sent to UK Wild Otter Trust for rehabilitation. Now Hughie has a promising future ahead of him.
The original was made with colored pencils in 2025. The print is ink pigment colors on Canson® Edition Etching paper.
Canson® Edition Etching is a 100% cotton Fine Art paper with a smooth texture, reminiscent of the original genuine etching and printmaking papers. The paper has the purest white tone available on the market, without any Optical Brightening Agents (OBAs). Optical Brightening Agents are artificial brighteners that deteriorate in time. Canson® Edition Etching Rag offers a high paper shade stability and a resistance to aging by using natural minerals.
This museum-grade paper provides deep blacks, excellent image sharpness, optimum color graduation and its unique slight grain makes it ideal for printing detailed work, color photographs and exceptional black and white portraits.
- Weight: 310 gsm
- Surface feel: Soft textured
- Surface finish: Matte
- Color: Pure white
One size available: print is mounted to an A4 size (29.7 cm x 21 cm / 11.69” x 8.27”). It is mounted with creamy toned passe-partout. The original signature is removed and signed by hand on front. You can look at the picture to have an idea of its looks. Comes unframed.
